"This was a lovely place to stay. The house was cozy warm thanks to the fireplace. The set up worked well for our group of 2 couples and 1 teen. Even a bit of rain did not affect our stay in anyway. Troy the owner was extremely helpful with tips during our stay. I highly recommend having an outdoor bath. It was really lovely."

"The house is very well equipped and is private. Awesome deck which looks out to bush and a reserve. The beds are very hard, which was the only down fall for us. If you like a hard bed then the house is perfect."

"Property was great. Fantastic view from lounge & hot tub. Relaxing place with all facilities that you need for a holiday. Unfortunately check in was very stressful as the check in information didn’t come through prior to arrival & when travelling internationally you don’t readily have access to contact the host via email or phone which resulted in unnecessary international roaming costs to resolve. However once the check in issue was resolved we were able to really enjoy our stay in Nelson...

The place was spotless with lots of welcoming touches. With avid readers in the family the well stocked bookshelves were such a bonus. Couldn’t recommend it higher"

"The property could do with a lot of trimming back of the mature trees to allow more sun in but I imagine in mid summer it’s very pleasant. Once the gardeners had cleaned up the section it looked a lot better. The house was very comfortable with a great shower and we lit the efficient fire on the particularly cold night."

"This property was a solid 3.5-4 out of 5. Great location in Havelock - walking distance to the pubs and local shops. Easy parking, on street and one in the driveway. Fireplace with loads of wood, comfortable beds and lots of extra blankets, nice big living room, dining table etc. Would be great for a family or group of friends. The downsides were that the towels are quite old and very small, and there is limited crockery and cutlery in the kitchen, and only 3 wine glasses, which seemed strange...
