"We stayed at the Old Pumping Station whilst visiting family. Such an unusual building, refurbished to include a lot of original features. Very comfortable and a lovely location with a field opposite to walk our dog. Ideal. The host has thought of all the things to make it a home from home. It's small, but has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful area."

"Everything was fine, clean, good parking. Short of a plug for the kitchenette sink and very noisy fall pipe in the shower room when our upstairs neighbours showered at 5.30 AM each morning (woke us thinking we had a leak). Apart from that, all good. Would certainly stay again"

"The property location was perfect, and beautiful. Lovely local pub to walk to. The house was nicely decorated and had a homely feel. However the smell of damp dog was overwhelming, which didn’t suit us! Additionally the bedding smelt damp, and the towels of stale smoke. So it was necessary for me to do a couple of loads of washing during our stay. "

"Cannot comment as we were sent to a different loction at the last minute"

"Great location and space. Nice small compact but totally suitable space with everything you need. Would happily stay again"

"We have had a great week staying at Kingfisher Cottage; 12 people, 3 generations. The facilities were excellent. It was so nice to stay in a cottage with good quality pots and pans! We enjoyed all the walks from the cottage as well as the playing field, where our 92yr old grandpa was in goal and our 88yr old Nan Nan kicked the ball around. We loved the view from the side garden overlooking the reservoir, the table tennis table, the outdoor seating, lounge chairs and tables, as well as inside,...

"Platt-TV:n var ett fantastiskt tillskott för filmkvällar, Vi älskade att kura ihop oss i soffan efter en lång dag,"

"V clean and central. Good communication with the owner"

"We were impressed with how spacious the cottage felt, It was perfect for our family of four,"
