Ask at the hotel for a Guidebook in English. A very nice place for an overnight stop when heading to Santander for a ferry."

Most of the staff we encountered were friendly and kind and the breakfast spread was on a par with other paradors we had visited. Yes the floors are creaky and plumbing is ancient but we loved being there and the Parador is due to close shortly for major renovation. "
