"The facility was very clean all round. Staff were very helpful. However, the air conditioning was not cooling enough. I reported this, and a maintenance person came, fiddled with it and said it would work in 20 minutes. It never cooled until I left. This was very disappointing."

"We recently stayed at Ruby Emma Hotel and found it to be a modern hotel in an excellent location. Being just a short walk from the railway station made traveling into central Amsterdam quick and convenient. The room featured impressive technology, with lighting, temperature, blinds and the external façade all controlled via an iPad, which worked well and kept the room cool during the hot weather. "The room was oddly shaped. Most of the room was unusable. Half of it was entry and bathroom. Big windows but no chairs or tables to sit at. No place to store the luggage in the room. The breakfast was excellent. The onsite restaurant was so-so with poor service (slow). The location is a bit far from the main city. You need to walk over a bridge to the main road to catch a tram to get to Central Station. I would stay somewhere else next time."
