"Beautiful resort in general and I’m sure it’s even more pretty in summer. We stayed at one of the cottages, it was good but bit outdated. Being fall season, the biggest challenge we faced was with heating. Surprisingly one of the rooms did not have any heating but master and living room did. The best part where this resort shined was customer service. The front desk staff were super friendly and helped solve all our needs with a smile. Very accommodating staff. The only reason our stay turned out to be fine was due to the staff. Maybe the cottage is better during summer months but we felt colder. Apart this one issue, the property was beautiful and clean in general. There is kids playground and also a warm indoor pool."

We enjoyed wonderful views of the beautiful scenery all around us.Sandy and John were wonderful hosts and always responded when we reached out. "I love how this motel is located at the mouth of Cape Breton and right by the ocean. Unfortunately it's also beside a railway track. If like me, you can sleep through the train noise throughout the night, it's actually a nice comfortable place to stay. I also appreciate that we were provided plenty of toiletries."
