"The cottage was a comfortable space with spectacular views. We saw eagles, osprey, minke whales, seals (both harbour and grey types) as well as dozens of songbirds, etc right from the back deck and property. We even got to see a cruise ship pass by the house as it left port in Maine. The owner is beyond responsive. There was an issue with the back door lock and within hours it was fixed! Dennis is friendly and understands customer service. While some of the appliances are a bit outdated and at the end of their lives, we managed just fine. Overall a great experience and we look forward to returning or maybe trying another of this owner’s properties! "
"Picket Fence Motel has the friendliest and most helpful staff. Check in was a breeze and they were able to answer our questions. The room was quaint and VERY clean. Super quiet as well. The location was central and easy to get to everything by foot or by car. We loved sitting under the shade of the trees and watching Theresa the turkey and her babies having breakfast. "

"We had an amazing vacation at your gorgeous place. The house was so clean. Each bed had a basket of towels, soap, shampoo, razors etc... There was a full rack of spices, ice, k cup machine with a full stock of coffees, teas, hot chocolate. "
