Ordering systems that failed. Simple things like getting your own coffee at breakfast did not work. Altogether a lack of energy and commitment to getting things right was missing. "Just returned from a 7 night stay at Savoy view apartment The accommodation was excellent, everything needed for the stay was provided and the rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We arrived early after a 6 hour drive and expected we’d have to wait around a few hours until check in but we were surprised to notice that the key had been made available a lot earlier which was lovely. The property is in an ideal location for exploring the beaches and coves on the Lizard peninsula....

"Ugh, what a disaster! So, I booked this place for two nights, right? Get there, and the main door to the key lockbox is jammed shut. Called the host like fifteen times, and nada—no answer. Had to scramble to find another place 'cause my girlfriend's pregnant, and we couldn't just hang around. To top it off, they wouldn't give me a refund! Had to fight it through my bank. Seriously, avoid this place like the plague. No one answers, and it feels like a total scam. "

"The hosts Clare and Kevin were fantastic. I stayed there for a week. They were friendly and helpful. I felt right at home immediately. The room was in tip-top condition, clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Cleaning was done every day. The breakfast, both continental and English, were fantastic in terms of taste, quality, and plentiful. The hot breakfast was especially great. It was wonderful to be able to enjoy that as well. "When booked it says take blanket&pillow case?no need bedding is included.. Shared bathroom clean&tidy. After 10.30 gets really loud with jukebox,on a main road..if you a light sleeper this is no good.but i enjoyed my stay it was for one night..breakfast was excellent! Cereals toast and a full English was excellent for my journey I would definitely stay again if was down that end..very impressive. "

"The mattress let it down, thin and very soft. We live only an hour away, stayed so could enjoy a wine tasting without worrying about driving. We got up at 5.30am and went home to bed!! The pod was clean but basic, ok for one night. Staff friendly and helpful."

"Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!"

"Travelling as a family we had 3 rooms here, one family room and 2 doubles. 2 of the rooms were amazing with views of St Michael’s mount. The 3rd room was tiny in comparison but cost roughly the same. So mixed views on the rooms, similarly in the restaurant, breakfast was excellent however, fish and chips in the restaurant in the evening and children’s meals were disappointing considering the location and price point."

"Staff were lovely but the property needs a lot of TLC. The bathroom is tiny but well equipped. Good location for st Michael's Mount but not much else nearby. Bonus was, they offered breakfast included but we weren't hungry enough for a full English breakfast 😟"
