We loved our stay at HOtello Schwabing. It was very conveniently located near the train station, and only 3 stops from the historic district. The facility was clean and staff were very helpful. The area of town was nice and provided a more local versus touristy feel. Would definitely stay here again :)

Very good

The hotel was in great location, and the room was nice and clean. I really liked the hotel. The only downside is that the hotel is self service and unfortunately I had trouble checking so it was by chance I managed to find one member of staff who was very helpful. It was a bit I comfortable knowing nobody was there especially during the night.

Nice hotel in a great location. The room was beautiful and clean, although quite compact. The water filling station in the basement is a nice touch. I would have appreciated a small fridge in the room or some other mean of keeping food and drinks cold, however!

Super friendly and personal. Good service. Super clean. I travel a lot and really highly recommend this hotel if you stay in Munich. And having a very nice Frence bistro with home made cannard pathe.

The room was clean and well maintained. The area has many restaurants and some shopping and large park to the east . There is easy access to the mass transit and the rest of the city. Travel to/from the airport was alright but takes about an hour as long as you don’t miss any changes.

Loved staying at HOtello and would highly recommend. The room was exactly as listed. Great area with everything you need for shops, restaurants, and easy access to transportation. My only “complaint” is that the pillows were terrible - small and lumpy. For such a great hotel it would be nice if they upgraded their pillows a bit. Still, I would gladly stay again.

A otherwise pleasant stay

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the service was good during my stay. However, a restaurant bill was falsely charged to my room and, while I raised this issue during checkout, the hotel pursued me for payment, claiming that the signature on the receipt was mine (it was not).

Nice staff. Good location. A/C at the entire hotel was not working, we thought it was just our rooms (2) until we talked to the front desk. They said they couldn't move us since the whole system was not working (for at least the entire duration of our stay, 5 nights; based on the staff's response, it seems like it hadn't been working for a long while even before that). They did offer a fan. There are popular restaurants downstairs but noisy if the windows are open…. Would give it a higher rating if the A/C was working...

Unfortunately in my experience the property was more style over substance. The heating in my room wasn't working and reception said no technician was available to fix it until the next day. They only offered me a space heater after I pointed out it was -2 degrees out and impossible to be without heating. The staff were not apologetic about the broken heating. The standing shower also did not drain well and overflowed. On the positive side the hotel was clean and quiet.
