Hotel is perfectly located from the main train station and Marin platz and convenient stores around the corner staff were very very nice and helpful. But it’s only a for a transit stay meaning there are no full curtains to cover the sun when you wake up plus there isn’t air conditioning it’s only a fan in the room

room was clean and as described. not the fanciest but the reception area was helpful and always available. for the price point and location it was a good deal and above expectation. distance from metro station made hotel always great due to time to get to any location in the city. lidl is 1 minute away and coffe shop across the street.

Great location and Great Staff in heart of downtown Munich Hauptbahnhof area. Stayed here for second Time in so many weeks. Close to everything. Great value for the money money. Close to food stores, restaurants and coffee shops. See pic of coffee shop we frequented, just around the corner from the hotel.

I booked a single room but front desk staff gave me a double room plus a sofa bed.There are lots of shawarma place near by, coffee shops, two large drug store a supermarket. Right next door grocery store.

Hotel is located in a rather seedy and noisy part of the city with strip bars and lap dancing clubs virtually on the doorstep . It was easy to find and a short walk from Munich Hbf. However, after checking in at reception in order to gain access to my room I had to exit reception and walk a few metres along to another door which seemed to be a fire exit for both hotel and a kebab shop. There is no elevator and you have to climb the stairs to the rooms. My original booking was for a room on 5th floor but the young guy at reception gave me a room on 2nd floor which was helpful. Hotel room was basic but clean but you get what you pay for (€29) and as I was only staying one night it was okay. Goethestraße is a very noisy and busy street with lots of cafes, kebab shops so maybe not ideal if you fancy a quiet stay. There was a lot of construction work going on all around which made walking around the immediate area difficult. However it is easy to get to the tourist attractions by foot from the hotel and a 15 minute walk takes you to Karkplatz,and Marienplatz and other attractions and a short walk to and from Munich Hbf. There are a lot of shops, restaurants cafes and bars all around. Munich is a great city to visit. Would I book same hotel again? For one night and at the price I paid? As a solo male traveller......Yes I would.

Room was clean, shower ok, bed was comfy. Area was a little ropey with large numbers of males standing around and staring at two females on their own. The door to our side of the hotel kept being left open by the takeaway below by showing a heavy weight in front of the door which made it feel a little less safe. the smell from the takeaway below permeated the room constantly and we were on the 3rd floor! Whilst not unpleasant (garlic and onions lol) my clothes and hair smelt of same in the morning :( Ok for a brief stop if you just need to get your head down for one night, didn’t feel comfortable walking around in the early evening to find a place that wasn’t a kebab shop nearby…
