"The rooms and property were very clean. Staff was wonderful in all areas. The property lacked any character throughout the grounds, I’m honestly not sure how this is considered a 5 star resort and I would have expected more from a newer adults only property. Many of the beach umbrellas were broken and damaged and many of the pool chairs didn’t have umbrellas near them which is a problem especially when coming down early to the pool. People can’t sit out in the sun with no coverage in that sun and heat. All of the prime pool chairs are taken very early every morning even with no one sitting in them all day and staff never remove any towels. The food and drink quality wasn’t anything special. A lot of repetition every single day at the buffet. "

"None of the bars are staffed for the volume of people they have to take care of. The food was OK restaurants that you expected to be more off. The menu are also buffets so what’s the point of that even though other resorts that belong to the same ownership or next to each other, you’re not able to use any of the other facilities if you stay at the Santa Fe."

"The rooms were very clean, the staff everywhere were so friendly! They all worked very hard, and yet always happy and so willing to treat you like royalty! My only small complaint were the amount of birds around the outdoor tables at the buffet, I know a hard thing to control, but if dishes were left to long, the birds would swarm! I also noticed them on the servers station on the water jugs ect. But I must say, the food was excellent! We were there with our family, including a 15 and 16 year old, tuff age, but they found not any others in there age group, possibly the time of year? We were there after spring break. Overall, an amazing place, and we plan on returning!"

"Called to request an airport shuttle and was told there wasn't one. The location is not in the best area but it is convenient and close to downtown. Not a fancy hotel at all. Was given a dirty room at first. There's no elevator so I had to carry my huge suitcase up 4 flights of stairs. The clean room I was given after was missing blankets/comforter. Definitely a spot where the locals stay. People and staff were friendly. Free breakfast was good which was pancakes, fruit, coffee, and orange juice. Convenient store on location. Wifi worked fine. Stayed on a Friday night and heard music all night/early morning from someplace closeby - didn't bother me but I could see how it could bother others. Pool looked clean but not that big."

"Sheets were dirty, no extra sheets and limited room service, the place was not clean properly, shower, and sink clugged, the walls had patches of different paint color- not done, the mattress was bent and very uncomfortable! The couch was super dirty!! Stay away!"

"We appreciated the cleanliness, views and spaciousness of this suite. We also enjoyed the two pools. Coffee on the deck was lovely each morning though there was not much room - we still enjoyed the sunshine and views very much! Sergio was great and we appreciated that he could have large jugs of water delivered to us as it saved us lugging them up the hill! We loved all the small neighbourhood stores in the area as we cooked most of our meals and were able to get all the supplies we needed without having to go too far. We found the location walkable though lots of up and down hills - was good for our quads! :-)"

"Nice staff, clean apartment. However, the description needs to be updated: there is no restaurant or bar anymore, the pool is not heated and downtown/beach is 30 mn away by walk or 10 mn by car. "
