"We booked a stop over on the way back to Calais. Hotel in an area off the main roads so we booked it. It didn’t tell us on Expedia that the hotel was also a casino!!! There were a lot of people smoking outside in cars and in the carpark and directly outside the entrance to the hotel. so was a bit intimidating. However check in was efficient and staff were polite. Bedrooms had been cleaned but not sure how long ago, as everything needed a good dust. Shower did the job. We didn’t use any hotel...

"We stayed for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned. We had to grab towels from the cleaners trolley in the corridor. On the first day, when we called the reception they told us cleaning needed to be ‘booked’. Then the second day we called again and they told us they were too busy. Really below standard for their star rating."

"The only drawback is, that i did'nt know it was card payments only. I had loads of cash."

"Staff was super friendly, the rooms are very dark even with all the lights on and the lobby is relatively uninviting. The property location is great as it’s just a short walk to the different tram lines and conveniently located to hundreds of different local shops and restaurants."
