"Pros: We really enjoyed the beautiful views in three different directions from all windows, the very nice owners and the home made jam. It's not very clear from the webpage but it's possible to order bread in the morning which is very convenient, especially on the very first date. The village is peaceful and quiet and there are a lot of hiking options around. There are plenty of wonderful waterfalls in the neighbourhood."

"all rooms don't have AC so you have to be careful. I had to upgrade my room because no AC do not fit me ;) They should say so when we book. We should have an option."

"Booked at 10pm and checked in at 12am as we came into Basel late - front desk gentleman was super great. Helped with directing parking (our car was higher than 1.9m so the basement hotel parking wasn’t possible but concierge send us to one nearby Claramatte(?) 5 minutes walk away which was fine (overnight 10pm-7am was €1.50 per hour. Hotel was clean, bright modern decor. Wife was very very happy with bathroom lighting as other premium hotels we’ve been in the past had quite dark lighting so didn’t help for make up but Pullman Basel was rated best for her. Breakfast was simple and reasonably priced. Trams stopped directly outside and train stations nearby but we didn’t hear any noise (and we were on second floor). Overall great experience and sleep. Complimentary water and Nespresso."

"The hotel was great overall — clean, comfortable, and with excellent service. Everything was very good, but I was surprised that the room didn’t have a coffee maker. Having coffee in the room is a small convenience that makes a big difference, especially in the morning. For that reason, I would give the hotel 4 stars."

"Great experience overall! Very clean hotel! Very cute rooms!! We loved them! The only reason we didn’t leave a better review is because of the parking situation- we spent about 4 hours of our one day stay looking for parking around the hotel, the staff member kept telling us different locations of where we could or couldn’t park during off times- I’d recommend some sort of instructions for quests on parking if it’s meant to be that difficult."

"This is the fourth time I have stayed here, and the hotel continues to provide excellent service. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and my single room was very comfortable. There are lots of nice touches, like free water bottles in the room and fresh fruit at the reception. The breakfast is very nice. The only problem is that I couldn't open the window. There is a fan in the room, and I could let fresh air in during the morning when the hall windows were open. Part of my stay was during a heat wave, and the room was hot. Otherwise, I really recommend this hotel!"
