"The KY State Resort Parks ROCK! Kenlake Lodge is well maintained, and the rooms spacious and clean. The staff are super friendly and personable. We ate dinner at the restaurant and the view of the lake is beautiful. The food is quality at super reasonable prices! The booze may not be top shelf but you aren’t paying top shelf! The pool is very nice, large, and clean. KY State Resort Park have a certain charm of simpler times. Not just the furniture, but the quality and hospitality…And, the prices! The park grounds are well-maintained. Disclaimer - I am NOT a state employee! I just appreciate a basic good time on a low budget while not sacrificing space, hospitality, or cleanliness."

"After a long day of traveling, we arrived to check in. Ray was not only there with a smiling face, he was overly accommodating and helped us reconnect our TV that wasn't working. Super friendly, helpful and genuinely interested in making sure we had a great stay every day at Hampton. A truly outstanding employee."

"The House was as advertised. I had a very peaceful stay on the lake watching the wildlife. The location is quiet and remote but you aren’t that far from Aurora or Murray if you need supplies."

"Terrific family place. A low tech, high relaxation resort. There are lots of choices as to where to stay. Like: cabins, cottages, motel like places, glamping suites and tiny homes.There's a clean pool and a real handy beach with a swimming hole on the lake. They have an excellent marina with rentals for whatever type of watercraft you like. Their restaurant serves delicious food and has great service. Oh, they even have washers and dryers included with your rental.Our cabin was perfect for our family of four. We rented a golf cart to get around. What a jewel this was. Things here are slow and easy. No hype, just smiles and peace all without any crowds. Well be back."
