I used to live here 30 years ago. The check in process was the easiest I ever experienced. Staff was great. This stay was everything I wanted and expected. Thank you.
The Location was great, but the room was not. It was dirty, very dirty. The place needs major updating, and there are broken and unused Things shoved in the corner in the bedroom That should not be there. The shower was awesome, Sitting on the toilet made you feel like you were in a preschool. There are things that must’ve fallen off the walls and the holes are still there and it looks Terrible. Taking it into consideration, it is very close to the water so I understand the wear and tear and damage. But if you are going to rent it to the public, it needs a deep clean and updating.
Received the email with door code and arrived there and there was no keypad on the door, had to go to the office to get keys. Glad we arrived early because check in is after 4:00 and I am guessing they close the office at 5 and if I had arrived late I would have had to sleep in the car the first night because there was no mention of needing a key only a code to get into the room like the other rooms have been when we have stayed there with another couple. The place was clean but it wasn’t well kept, the door looked like someone bumping into it could have fell through it and the outside light was broken in half and the latch to stop the door from opening all the way was missing the latch part that attaches to the door. Wanted to take a shower once we checked in after 4 and had no hot water. Had to wait until next morning for them to reopen make a work order to have that fixed, took awhile to get fixed so we went to other couples room we went there with and took our shower in their room. I know all of this seems trivial but when you pay the same as everyone else and it seems your room is the worst room in the place it just gets old after awhile
I was happy with everything until I tried to sleep with something biting at my legs. Realty company dispatched maintenance to check it out when I reported it, however said they didn't find evidence of anything. Finally slept last 2 nights of stay after purchasing plastic mattress protector and new sheets. Bottom part of my legs are covered with marks that itch like crazy. I'm just hoping I was successfull in not bring any back with me.
