"We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our family to be able to cook together, play games, and explore the grounds. The kitchen is well stocked and has an amazing formal dining room for meals. The grounds are beautiful to walk and the view from the home of the Shannon River are lovely. WiFi was strong and supported streaming and Zoom calls. The host was lovely and extremely responsive. "

"We loved our stay as did the 4 college age children we had with us. It was a close walk to shops, pubs and the Bunratty castle. When I say shops, it was just the two main gift shops, but they were more than just gift shops. The actual VRBO was perfect for our stay. It was clean and comfortable, and we'd definitely consider staying here again."

"It's a nice little cottage and host/property manager were quite nice as well. We were there 5 days, and enjoyed our stay there a lot. It's a bit far from the sights and from a grocery store (minimum 30 min. drive, IIRC) so plan for that. Also, no wi-fi that we were able to figure out (we just watched stuff we had already downloaded, using an HDMI cable), but there was a television and laundry facilities, so that was great."

"First, Caroline (on-site supervisor) couldn’t have been more kind and attentive. The unit was very basic accommodations, like a budget hotel. Specifically, beds are on the lower quality end, to the extent that one of them had to be modified with extra comforters. Bunratty is a small village, but the area is beautiful, with easy motorway access, and the restaurants and service are fantastic. We travelled by car with Bunratty being the central point. "Although the other side of the River Shannon to the city it was only a short walk across the bridge. Unlike some other city hotels there not only was parking available under the hotel, but at the time we were there more than ample parking, albeit at a not insignificant cost. Our room was spacious, well decorated, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The inclusive buffet breakfast was very good and we also had a meal one night in the hotel which was good too. A very smart hotel in a lovely city."
