"We had travelled around for 6 weeks and this had to be the worse bed I've ever tried to sleep in. You could feel every spring in the mattress and when moving the bed would creak. Everything stunk like smoke and you had to pay extra for the air conditioning!! "We had a great stay! The lovely hosts made us feel at home and were very helpful when we had questions or requests. Balconies are great to watch the sun set and moon rise. Hotel Ambasador

10/10 Excellent

"I had a spacious premium room with a balcony and gorgeous mountain and sea views. Everything felt clean and comfy, and the bed was super cozy. Loved how easy it was to walk to the seafront, Old Town and even the hill park, plus, the bus station was close. Staff were really helpful and attentive. Breakfast wasn’t huge but tasted good. Spa time was a highlight, go for the hot stone massage if you can. The only small thing is I couldn’t find a night light in the bathroom, so it was a bit tricky at night. Loved my stay in Split. Definitely recommend!"

Amphora Hotel

"We stayed at the Amphora in October break which meant the hotel was relatively quiet, it appeared as if they’d reduced the staff. The main restaurant disappointingly was closed, we were served in the breakfast room by a single waiter who was unable to cope with demand - food there was not great. Location is fine as long as your either up for a long but pleasant walk or happy to take a taxi, beware some of the local taxis are fierce at overcharging €95 for 2 miles from port to hotel - after that one I used Uber for everything which was good. The promenade and beach were excellent. Spa facilities were good easy to access with capacity in October, would be interesting in August. Room was nice and clean with amazing view of Adriatic Sea from balcony. Overall I would recommend staying in the hotel and eating out, Split city was very interesting with nice cafes and restaurants"

"Loved this property. We were lucky enough to be upgraded and had a balcony which was lovely to sit and play cards with a drink. There was also a washing machine and a couple of all in one tabs which was helpful. Very central but also easy to park close by. As this was an apartment, we could have cooked, everything was provided, as well as a coffee machine. Couldn’t fault it at all. Breakfast was up the road in a small cafe, also nice"

Bluesun Hotel Berulia

"First of all, BRELA is beautiful. It does not have a lot of tourist due to the fact there is no cruise ship port bus terminal or airport nearby. It feels very local. The restaurants along the beach walkway were amazing and easy to access from the hotel. The sauna was excellent. There was a small fee but well worth it. You must reserve ahead of time but you’ll have a lot of privacy the beaches out front our world class they are small pebble type beaches, but the water is so clear you can see 25 feet Highly recommend heading out to the right side or to the north to a couple of the beach, restaurants and bars as they have outstanding food and drinks steps from the water wasn’t too impressed with the food at the hotel great buffet breakfast, but I wouldn’t recommend eating dinner there not because it wasn’t good. There’s just so many great options down the beach that are right on the water. The hotel was super clean and had been recently refurbished. We will definitely stay there again."
