"Good experience. Only gripes. 1) Main meal option not available and we were sitting at 715pm so not that late. 2) Being in a room beside the road there was early noise from Bin collections.Could benefit from Double glazing to minimise some traffic noise during the day.Little at night.May be a issue as a listed builsing ? Overall minor gripes."

"Gorgeous family room, such an accommodating establishment! So clean, great food, lovely helpful staff especially the lovely gentleman that checked us in and showed us our family room. Amazing stay for us, our children and our 2 dogs! Will definitely be returning! Thank you all. Room was exactly as photos showed which is a rarity!"

"It’s a lovely hotel. A little bit dated now, in places, but overall really nice in a nice setting and location. The staff were friendly although there were a few occasions things were asked for and not delivered on. I put this down to them being young and maybe not fully engaged with their roles. Could maybe do with some senior leadership to raise standards to where they could easily be. I would recommend and I would stay again. Just manage your expectations. Don’t expect the best. But overall a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I paid for breakfast both mornings. The food quality was great but often things were missing and not replenished. A little disappointing at £16 pp price point."

"Room was clean and adequate Did not like to be next door to the big exit door 😳 as got woken up a few times the room could do with a deep clean I love the shower room did not have breakfast but it smelt very nice 😀 would stay again as price was good"
