"Great location short walk to Metro station. Walkable to many City attractions. We did the walk up to Park Guell. Very nice area to explore the city from. Many eating places and grocery stores nearby in walking distance. We just bought our own food for breakfast instead of using the Hotel breakfast option."

"The staff were very friendly and ready to help. I had to ask for some ice for a sprained ankle and they gave me enough for us two (and our drinks!). Upon check-in close to midnight, we were offered the upgrade and explained the situation and package well. We had an newly renovated room with an outdoor terrace, a minifridge, and electric kettle (good complementary coffee, tea, and a variety of sugar packets) close to the common outdoor pool! It was a bit too cold for us to take a full dip in the water but the lounge chairs were nice both near the pool & on our terrace. The housekeeping was also very good, fresh towels for our stay and they replenished the cotton pads without prompting. The bathroom was very very nice as well (waterfall shower!). Overall, we had an excellent stay in Barcelona also thanks to Catalonia Park Guell."

"The hotel is exceptionally clean, and the overall maintenance of the property is excellent. However, there was a major misunderstanding regarding the breakfast. Before arriving, a staff member informed me that, here in Canada, all hotels include breakfast within the booking. I was very surprised to find out upon arrival that my daughter and I were not included. To build better customer loyalty and win more guests, the hotel should be clearer about this or offer better policies. While the cleanliness was top-notch, the breakfast issue was disappointing.""

"The location downtown was good for things to do but too far away from the hotel if only staying overnight between flights. Passed on the breakfast as 20 euros extra seemed over priced. Breakfast should be included. We had a much better room the second time. First time was too small. First time in any hotel where they didn't provide washcloths. I found that weird!"
