"The Hotel Minerva is one of my favorite places we stayed while touring Italy. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and enormous compared to most of the cities we visited, and it was only a 5ish minute cab ride to the train station. Close enough to the historical center that you can get to the churches and Medici fortress within 30-45 minutes at a leisurely pace. Charming & Luxury Historic Guest House in the Center of Arezzo ( Tuscany)

1st trip to Italy - AWESOME!

"We could not have asked for a better property, location, or host! Stefano greeted us at the train station and helped us get settle in - we felt at home from the minute we arrived! There was a fire going, wine available and the atmosphere was perfect! The pictures do not do it justice - it is even more impressive and spectacular in person. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know our host and the city of Arezzo - both are gems. From the quaint bakery across the street where we enjoyed a cappuccino and pastries every morning, to the history awaiting around every corning, our visit exceeded our expectations, and we cannot wait to return to this fabulous property and charming city! As for hosts...Stefano and his dog Spritz, five stars does not seem to be enough. We are already looking for a time to return!!"

"This friendly little hotel is one floor of an apartment building. Easy to miss, no big sign out front but go by the address number and find the hotel name on the buzzer.Easy walk to trains and all the shops, restaurants and historic sites. Basic double room with twin beds and clean private bathroom. Continental breakfast has many choices including fresh pastries, yogurt ham and cheese. We had a nice little balcony with a view over city to hills. Affordable, simple B&B run by nice people. "

"We loved every moment we were here. Sara is an amazing host and guided us to wonderful neighborhood restaurants and nearby museum. We could walk everywhere including the historic areas. Our apt was large and roomy with a beautiful garden area. Sara anticipated our every need. We loved this place! "
