Relaxing 2BR Family Stay – Near Lake & Downtown!

  • Palmer Place is perfectly situated between Downtown Muskegon and the nationally recognized Pere Marquette Park. Just a block from Muskegon Lake and the shoreline bike trail you will have plenty to do and see while you are here! Our single-story home offers peaceful, private rooms with additional leisure space both inside and out. Enjoy a quiet morning on the screened in front porch with your coffee or a night in while grilling on the BBQ and eating at the covered, fenced in backyard dining table.

    We are centrally located to all that Muskegon has to offer and less than 5 mins. from the Lakeside Area, Downtown Muskegon and McGraft Park.

    The Lakeside area is home to popular restaurants and shops such as Ghezzi’s, Wonderland Distillery, BananaDog Tea, and The Pierogi Shack. There is also convenient access to the Lake Express Ferry (Muskegon to Milwaukee) and the Muskegon Lakeshore Trail, a 14 mile path that provides scenic views of Lake Michigan and Muskegon Lake.

    Downtown Muskegon is a wonderful and historic area for shopping, dining and fun! You can find yourself at popular locations such as 18th Amendment, RAD Dad Tacos, Carlisle’s. Pigeon Hill Brewing, Unruly Brewing, or Socibowl.

    McGraft Park is where you can find yourself playing a round of frisbee golf, sledding, watching your kids play on the several playgrounds, playing basketball or tennis, enjoying the shuffle board courts, or enjoying the free outdoor concerts in the summer.

Great place!

This was a great joke and perfect for traveling with pets. Our pups loved the fenced in backyard and we loved the location and comfortable bed. Would absolutely stay again!

The home was colorful and clean. It had all the comforts of home for us and our dog. She loved the fenced in yard but was not a fan of the squirrel that teased her from the treetop. Perfect location!

Great home in Muskegon

Beautiful home in Muskegon. My son and I had a great time staying here. Not to far from beach and other fun things to do in Muskegon. Amazing stay and would come back and stay again.

Michigan getaway

My family and dog stayed at the Palmer house. We had an amazing vacation and enjoyed our stay. The house was adorable and we loved the front porch and fenced in backyard. The host made us feel welcome and the check-in was seamless. Great location and neighborhood

Clean, dog friendly property with fenced-in backyard located in a safe neighborhood.

The house was clean, welcoming and creatively decorated. We enjoyed the front porch and the fenced-in backyard for the dogs. The neighborhood felt safe and was a great place to walk the dogs.

Great Stay!

Cute house. Well appointed. Great walk in closet for hanging coats and storing suitcases etc. Conveniently located. Close to restaurants and beach. Quiet neighborhood. Fenced in yard; a life saver for us while traveling with our dog. Easy check-in/check-out. Hosts were super nice and easy to get in touch with. Our family would definitely stay here again!

Located in a safe, cute neighborhood with well-maintained homes and gardens. Neighborhood was quiet and the house provided a nice home-base to come back to after making day trips. Located about a block off the harbor and about 8 minutes from one of a dozen dog beaches along Lake Michigan. Minutes from anywhere in Muskegon. A cute craftsman style house that felt private, everything was on one level, and there were only around three steps into the house. The kitchen is a decent size with a full-size fridge. Cute dishes and plenty of cups, flatware, and quality pots and pans. The dining room has a large table that seats four and it provided a great gathering spot for art, games, and meals. The backyard provided a secure fence for our dogs to safely move around and explore. There was a great grill conveniently hooked up to a gas line. The bedrooms were a decent size with the main bedroom having a nice dresser.Now our only negatives:- We didn't use the screened-in front porch because it was quite dirty and hairy.- The AC unit was pretty loud when it was running.- The couch has seen better days and could use replacing. It seats three but not super comfortable for more than two.-The bunk beds were sufficient but weren't overly functional. It was difficult to get in and out for a young person.Otherwise, if you're looking for a quiet, safe, charming older home with character that's pet friendly, this is a great home.

cuteness overload

we checked in tuesday, dropped off our stuff n hit the town! this property is so conveniently located close to everything, shopping, food, and extracurricular activities! you need not bring anything but yourselfs n ur personal belongings 😏 the house. itself is so cute with all its modern touches n designs. super clean n stocked up. my favorite touch was the screened in porch for comfort sitting. and relaxation! even has lights for evening enjoyment! this place does not disappoint

Rough start but it ended well!

Perhaps it was the cleaning crew but the dishwasher was ran with dish soap. You will need to stream your own Netflix or whatever streaming device you use and definitely not enough toilet paper. A trip to Meijer's for dishwasher soap not dish soap and toilet paper we were settled. The location was great if your a bike enthusiast. It's actually a couple blocks to get on the bike trail but you can ride it to the beach and have a nice lunch. Its great if you want a relaxing week at the beach.
