"Begona’s Apartment is one of the best I have ever stayed in. It had everything that a traveller needs and more. The view from the lounge through the centre of Bilbao to the hills behind was spectacular. Begona was a super host, very communicative and just so helpful and her black book full of great recommendations of services, super markets, restaurants things to do, all close by. There is no better place to stay than Begona’s The only downside was we didn’t have more time!! Thanks so much...

"Buena ubicación, recién pintado. Apartamento como se ve en las fotos. Debería actualizarse algunas cosas, tales como el baño y las ventanas que son demasiado viejas. También se debería revisar la potencia de luz contratada puesto que con un solo fuego de la vitro , el microondas y una lampara saltan los plomos. Antonio muy simpático y amable, nos proporcionó un utensilio que necesitábamos en cuanto se lo dijimos."

"I suggest a car! On a whim my daughter & I decided to head to Bilbao as this is a part of España I had not been to. While Gorliz is a suburb of Bilbao (approximately 50 minutes on metro to Plentzia) & w/o a car one must ride a bus to this location (8-10 min.-get off at Aldai) or a 30 min. walk), it’s a lovely town to walk around. "Irene responded quickly to my emails, gave us good directions, and met us on time for check in. The place is an amazing spot next to pastures. I didn't realize that there were 3 adjacent units and it was a little be noisy at times but overall we were very happy because the place was clean and modern. There were many flies when the cows are nearby. I recommend keeping the de-humidifier on at all times. Everything in the uint was well kept and in working order. We would definitively recommend it...

"This place is listed as having a lift. It does not! Kitchen equipment lacking or not working well. Symbols on oven have been scrubbed off and had to guess right setting and even then it took ages to reach temperature. No toaster and no kettle. Manager did not respond to questions when we booked. King size bed is 160cm (ie UK king and not 180cm King). Blinds/shutters are old and do not work properly. Street noise expected but worse due to lack of double glazing. "This hotel has online check in. It does not have a front desk. We did not receive an email to check in. You should check in 24 hours in advance. There is a parking lot near the property that will give you a special discount to park, but it needs to be done at least 24 hours before. The room has AC that works, it also has a great hair dryer, and has washer/dryer. Our room had a small kitchen."
