Wonderful stay at Cranberry Moon Inn. The inn was located in walking distance to all the attractions in Bala. The breakfast was plentiful & the hosts were very attentive to our needs. We will definitely stay here again & I highly recommend booking here.

staff were very friendly and super helpful in suggestions for activities to do in area…They suggested Port carling Museum which we enjoyed and the muskoka farm and winery…Took their wagon tour of cranberry marsh ..We also enjoyed their property and view of the water..Very peaceful.The king bed was very comfortable Fall colours in the area was gorgeous..

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cranberry Moon Inn B & B. The house and rooms were very clean and neat, Doug and Sue were great hosts as well. Their house is conveniently located to Bala and a 10 minute walk to the 'Key to Bala'.

Great stay in Bala

Great location and very friendly hosts. You can walk to the town and restaurants and also use boards and kayaks on Moon river. Very clean , renovated , looking to return in the future.

Perfect Place to stay for The Kee to Bala

This B and B was amazing. Beautiful, perfect location and lovely hosts! The rooms were all luxurious! Above and Beyond in service! Can’t wait for my next stay there

We had a wonderful stay in a comfortable and spacious room with a spotless and large en suite bathroom. The area is very beautiful, water is just across the street. Had a nice dip in the hot tub which was a great amenity.

Weekend on the Water and Concerts!!

Just stayed the weekend for a couple shows at Kee, and it was a perfect spot! Short walk to Kee to Bala, boat launch and dock across the street with free SUP and kayaks included. A hot tub and large shared deck for relaxing. Well-appointed suites in very clean and modern condition. Free continental breakfast, and above all else, great service from the friendly inn owners. The BEST experience at a bed and breakfast! I initially booked this as just a place to sleep as I was surprising my partner with a concert at the Kee To Bala (incredible venue). Boy, was I impressed by this place. Doug & Kim are wonderful hosts. They are so friendly and welcoming! The property itself is beautifully renovated inside and the outdoor amenities can keep you busy all day. The easy access to the lake right in front of the house was so convenient, too. My partner and I started making plans to come back after our first night there! 2 nights is not enough! Thank you Kim & Doug!

This place is a brand new gem. Beautiful, spotless room, most comfortable enormous bed, one of the best showers I’ve ever experienced. Kim and Doug are the charming hosts. We had a delightful chat with them over a great breakfast on their lovely patio with a view of the river. Bala is a short walk, including the amazing Kee to Bala venue, where we were watching the phenomenal Tiny Horse open for the glorious Glorious Sons. A trip to remember for all the right reasons.

The best compliment t that I can pay is that Doug and Kim made it feel like I was staying with friends. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and to make things available that would make my stay enjoyable. The rooms are stunning as is the view. I visited the local winery, did a cranberry plunge, went kayaking on the moon river right in front of the inn - they supplied the kayak at no cost. The town is delightful and steps away from the In. So you can take a walk and enjoy the lake, the river, the falls, a few cute boutiques and a couple of restaurants. If you go during the Cranberry Festival (I didn’t) the population of roughly 800 swells to over 20,000 for the weekend with music, food and shopping vendors and lots more walkable from the Inn. I would definitely go again.

Our stay at The Cranberry Moon Inn was fantastic. This B&B was convenient located in Bala, which allowed for us to enjoy a variety of winter activities in the area. The B&B was beautifully finished. You really can see the thought that was put into how it was planned and decorated. The owners, Kim and Doug, were excellent hosts. They really catered to our every need.

Really great experience. Rooms were very clean and the house that they are just finishing renovating is beautiful. I believe this was their second weekend open and they were doing everything to understand how to improve the experience, however I think they have nailed it already. Very friendly and lots of local knowledge. Walking distance to downtown Bala and The Kee. We didn't use the kayaks or paddle boards but they are a 30 second walk to a dock and boat launch. Thanks for a great experience and good luck as you build your business.
