"Great location just outside Edinburgh with public transport links into the City. We had a double bedded twin room which was spacious with a good range of amenities. We made good use of the swimming pool & spa facilities. Breakfast offered a lot of variety. The only minor niggles were no after hours food options / room service. We tried ordering from takeaways but sadly they weren’t prepared to deliver that far out? There is a direct bus service into Edinburgh located on the busy main road outside the hotel entrance. A dedicated pedestrian path through the grounds would be useful to avoid having to walk on the road particularly when returning at night with poor lighting. ….that aside I would happily recommend this hotel."

"The location is very convenient, just a short walk from the station, with an easy shortcut available. Rooms are nice but show some wear. The proximity to the train station and the attractions made this hotel absolutely perfect for a quick trip to Edinburgh."

"Great location. Castle view on the 5th floor. Right in the center of everything. We went for the Tatto & had a repeat each night going to sleep hearing bagpipes. Breakfast was great value for the price. Alot of food and convenient to have at hotel. Staff very friendly & helpful"
