"This is a great place to stay for a couple; the house is small but cozy. We really enjoyed our stay, and would consider staying here again. This is more like a 4.5 star rating. There were a few things that kept this from being a 5 star review: bathroom shower was incredibly small. Also the towel rack needed to be screwed in tighter, it was starting to come off the wall. Bathroom could also use a new paint job. The coffeemaker likely needs replacing..the inside of the reservoir looked pretty bad....

" Not only is the staff wonderful, but it is a short walk to the beach and they have provided anything and everything you could want for a day at the beach! Towels, carts, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, and even bicycles for a ride around town. There is a trolley that will take you anywhere along the island route. Pool is secluded and beautiful, rooms are well equipped, there is nothing else you could want for. "

"A nice small space for short stays. Wish they offered a dresser, had to live a week out of suitcases and there was plenty of room for them to offer a dresser in the closet. Too few places to hang towels to dry outside. Kitchen offering is limited but you can get by. Walking distance to town and beaches."

The guys enjoyed the private dock in the waterway and the fishing opportunity it provided, even for a little guy with a Zebco. "This is the perfect cottage for a couple’s getaway! It was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever rented. It is so tastefully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. It’s right across from the beach access and only a 4 minute walk to Siesta Key village. There were also bikes available at the cottage which we used every day. Dave was a great host and we highly recommend staying at this cottage. We can’t wait to go back!"

"This cottage is what old Florida was when we were kids. A great little escape for a local. Very well updated inside, so comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked you will not need a thing. And plenty of beach towels and several chairs to take down to the sand. The beach was so private and quiet. Loved the little deck out back as well for extra living space. Easy to get to Publix for all your sundries and grilling needs to use on the two available grills out back. Also the unit was back...

"The units are very spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. The pool is underwhelming as is the hot tub. Access to the beach was as advertised but losing the lounge chairs and umbrellas by 5:00 p.m.,hours before sunset is not ideal, especially for those with mobility issues who want to remain for the sunset, a highlight of the day. My children looked forward to paddle boarding and kayaking (as advertised) and inquired several times during our multiple day stay but were told none were available....
