This is a fabulous little hotel and sadly we only were there for 1 night. Konstantinos the manager is lovely - with nothing being too much trouble. The rooms we had were clean, cool and quirky and the pool area was sheltered with a cool vibe. Overall I think it would be a lovely property to serve as a base to explore Mykonos

Very welcomed by the woman at the desk. She was very helpful in anything we needed. Felt very safe with the gates. The room was amazing. Beautiful views. Well maintained property (one of the very few areas with green landscape). Breakfast was very delicious. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in a remote location
I had a lovely, comfortable stay at Iro’s. After I got over the initial shock at how far away the hotel was from the port, I was able to enjoy the peaceful location in the country and the super comfortable rooms. The concierge was always extremely helpful when I asked question about navigating the local transportation. She even helped me order an after hours meal from a local restaurant. If you stay here, make sure you have a plan for getting around as taxis are about 40 euros from the hotel to anywhere on the island and the bus comes once every two hours.

Team is extremely nice and helpful! We arrived late at night and they were waiting for us and brought everything we asked for. In the morning we needed to leave before breakfast starts so they brought us breakfast to the room. Aventually the owner took us to the port without extra charge!

Exceptional hotel and value for momey
Quite simply the best hotel / apartments we've ever stayed at. The reception staff are extremely helpful, cleaners are fast and efficient and the pool is a thing of beauty. There is a very peaceful atmosphere due to the small number of apartments and the location. It does require taxis, a rented vehicle or willingness to walk for half an hour to get to shops, restaurants, etc but this level of luxury closer to Mykonos town would cost hundreds of euros more per night, so I'd take the taxi fares every time. The apartment we had was spacious for the four of us and we had a choice of balconies, one on each floor! Just a delight.

The hotel is beautiful and Angela at the reception was amazing. She made our stay at the hotel relaxing an comfortable and was always very helpful with whatever we needed. Breakfast was really nice and so were all the staff members. The only thing is that the hotel is located a bit far away from the town itself - so if you do stay at the hotel make sure you hire a car, scooter or a quad bike - in order to get around. Getting a taxi in Mykonos is not that easy - so getting back to the hotel can be a bit difficult, but not impossible.

Great staff, great food and clean!!
The staff/owners (not sure of the dynamics as everybody seemed to genuinely care about the business and customers so much!) were absolutely incredible, couldn't have asked for any more from them. So, so helpful with organising things for us, including getting a scooter within a couple of hours of us arriving, and then giving us detailed directions to everywhere we wanted to go throughout our whole stay. After showing us to our room we were left to relax and shower etc before we went out to the bar/restaurant area and were shown in perfect detail all the best bits to see and do. The hotel grounds were lovely, the pool beautiful and not cold at all, the restaurant and bar areas were really really good too (lovely food and drinks and not expensive) . The room we felt was a little worn out, it was very clean by all means and pretty but bits like the bedside tables, wardrobe, shower curtain etc could do with a little TLC, minor details, but it would turn this into much more of a luxury hotel. My only other problem was the breakfast, there were lots of flies buzzing around which is to be expected when you eat outdoors, but maybe a little more could have been done to try to keep them away from the food. Regardless of that, I would love to stay again!

Relaxing haven!!!
Me, my husband and two childred have just come back from a two week stay at Iro's, and we absolutely loved it! The staff are all fabulous, very friendly and helpful, took my husband and I to the local supermarket on the first day to collect some groceries, which was very generous of them. The pool is a lovely size and deep which the children loved, not many people around the pool at any one time so could enjoy it more or less all to ourselves! We had a two bed apartment by the pool, very handy. It was very spacious and both bedrooms had their own bathroom which was heaven. Complimentary water in the fridge when we arrivied and towels can be provided for the pool by the hotel Local beaches and restaurants about a15 minute walk away, but did not mind, need the excercise when lounging around most of the day. There is a bus that stops right outside, very handy for getting into Mykonos town, Ano Mera and to the beaches, just check the time table, as it does not run very frequent around every hour. We did hire a car for a week which we very useful and managed to see most of the island as it not very big, road markings/signs not so great but you get used to it. Beaches are stunning with beautiful golden sands and clear blue waters, but beds can be expensive, but not everywhere you just have to explore different ones. Overall very relaxing and enjoyable, thank you Iro's

Lovely Oasis in Mykonos
We decided to get away from the crowds in Mykonos and found this gem of a hotel near Kalafatis Beach. The staff was very friendly and the room was very spacious and clean.

We were 6 people and somehow when I booked through Expedia ended up as 5 people. I called twice to Expedia they could not help me, then I took the risk and we show up 6 at the hotel. Even though the room was not designed for 6 but the staff did their best to accommodate us. They were very nice.

Extremely rude lady at the reception !!!
Had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel as its a bit out of town . However once there we were pleased as the hotel had a boutique feel to it , nice pool , nice room with lovely verandah, not so great breakfast . However we did not have hot water in our bathroom for 2 days and this extremely rude impolite disrespectful lady at the reception told us that they could not do anything and no apologies whatsoever!! First day when we had no hot water had to give my little kids shower with cold water and then we addressed the problem at the reception . They said they would solve the problem by evening . we got back quite late in the evening back to the hotel hence did not get a chance to check the water problem . So next morning we assumed that the problem was solved and after coming back from breakfast at around 10ish to our disappointment there was no hot water . Another staff there came and explained that the hot water supply works on solar but as we had no hot water she had to put on the electric switch on for hot water and asked us to wait for 1 hour to check . So at around 11 when we checked there was still no hot water . We were a family of 4 with 2 kids so logically it will take us atleast 1 hour to get ready and do the final packing . At 11oclock the staff asked us to wait for a bit longer . Meanwhile this rude illmannered staff came and asked us to vacate the room by 12 and that they could not help us in any manner . we had to have a cold shower and leave. No apologies !!!

If you want to stay at the cleanest friendliest family owned boutique hotel that's away from the tourists spots then this is for you, we hired a ATV and that's all we needed, there's beaches and restaurants within a easy ride, great 4 days

Lovely hotel in beautiful setting
Lovely and peaceful haven where you cannot fail to relax. Beautifully maintained grounds and pool (not chlorinated) and the rooms are fresh, clean and stylishly decorated. The only downside to our room was no window as such although one in the door which could also be opened. This is just a personal preference and not a big issue. The comfort of the room more than made up for this. Fresh sheets and lovely smelling towels every day but towels for the pool as well. Breakfast is great and will suit all tastes - warm bread, croissants, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, cheeses, ham, eggs and coffee/tea and juice. Also delicious porridge (nostimo!). The real bonus is the lovely family running this little piece of heaven. Georgia and her whole family (Mama and Papa especially) were an absolute delight and we miss their smiling faces already! Efcharisto para poli guys - we had a wonderful 10 days.
