From the moment we pulled in from the road, we were in love. The location, presentation, cleanliness, thoughtfulness - all 5 plus extra stars. Very thoughtful touches. "Host Georg met us on our arrival at Karawatha Cottages. Our cottage was immaculate inside and out. The decor was bery tasteful and there were lots of little touches that elevated it above the norm. The fridge was filled with milk water, tomatoes, yoghurt, eggs bacon, butter and jam. Fresh bread, granola, fruit, chocolate and a bottle of local wine was also provided. "

"Located wrong side of Main South Rd meaning unable to walk to dinner or to the beach etc. needed to drive everywhere. Beds are small and not too comfortable… furniture in lounge area very limited and sofa bed not comfortable to sit on for a longer period. "

"We loved the location of our cabin with it being tucked away and beautifully quiet. The rooms were clean and nicely presented and the shower was lovely and hot! The only negative was that we noticed a smell of cigarette smoke in the bedroom with the bunk beds, so we left the window open most of our stay and kept the bedroom door shut."
