All we needed was provided and it was a wonderful winter weekend to sit in front of the fire and relax. A beautiful spot and Heather was a wonderful host. We hope to be back!"

"This is the third or fourth time we have stayed and we have been impressed with the standard. Always lovely and clean which is a top priority for me. Breakfast is in the fridge for the morning and the cottages are cosy and warm in the winter "

"Amazing peaceful location situated conveniently to all major towns in the area. Rooms come with a spa which was great for when you spend the day hiking and need to wind down. "

"I think we came during a quiet time which was ideal for us! No noisy neighbours! The room was imaculate and very cosy!! The heater and all other amenities worked amazing they even had a mini heater in the bathroom which was a first and being winter it was AMAZING! a bit outdated but as a castle i think thats the vibe and we loved it! My 3 year old keeps talking about the castle now 😆 i would recvomend coming during the weekend as thats when everything is open we didnt do our research and just thought it was open daily and stayed during the week but had other stuff planned to do in ballarat anyway but a good heads up if you want the full castle experience during your stay :) plenty of free things that are open 247 and the cool little photo props and castle details are great! "
