Recently renovated 1BR 1BA condo located in one of the best kept secrets in Myrtle Beach, Ocean Forest Plaza. The Salty Mermaid is the perfect condo for a couples getaway! The coastal decor is accented with a mermaid theme. The bedroom features a king size bed, and coastal shiplap accent wall. The full size kitchen includes granite countertops, and granite island featuring 4 stools for you to enjoy meals, playing games, or simply enjoying a beverage. The bathroom has been updated to include a rainfall showerhead, and stand up shower. New flat-screen smart TVs adorn the walls in the bedroom, and living room. The beautiful balcony has two adirondack chairs, lounge chair and table, perfect for a quiet breakfast, or sunrise viewing. It’s the best spot for morning coffee! We have everything you need with a fully stocked kitchen, however you are close to countless restaurants.
This condo has been renovated to suit couples seeking a relaxing and refreshing retreat. Amenities at Ocean Forest Plaza include an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, sauna, and fantastic walking distance to the beach.

Quick trip

We stayed for a quick trip here and we were not disappointed. Very clean and close to things but far enough away from the crowds. Across from the ocean just a walk across the street. Would definitely stay here again.

Beach Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the salty mermaid. The view was stunning, and the place was cozy. We enjoyed the pool, beach, hot tub and a few rounds of golf. Looking forward to visiting again.

Our Favorite Get Away

This is the second time we stayed here . We really enjoyed it. Three stars for cleanliness only because the floors were sandy/ dirty . Otherwise a great getaway for couples , tastefully decorated, cozy, great location with a beautiful view of the ocean .

Great Stay

Loved staying here, it was such a great trip for me and my boyfriend. The whole mermaid decor is such a great touch. The condo felt very welcoming, and it has such a spectacular view of the beach. Had a small issue with finding the parking pass but the host was quick in answering and helping us solve the issue. Really recommend this place if you're looking for a getaway of 2 persons.

Beautiful condo and even more beautiful view!

Their place was everything we wanted and needed. It had amazing views of the ocean and we got to wake up to see the sunrise right off the beach each morning. The condo was very clean and tastefully decorated. Not to mention the King bed was oh so comfy for a good night's sleep after being out in the sun all day. Also, I LOVED that it had a high bistro table and chairs on the balcony so you could enjoy the ocean views over the railing. Most places don't add that little, but thoughtful touch. It had everything we needed from cookware, cups, dish soap, hair dryer, etc. And even included beach chairs and an umbrella - just minus beach towels which they informed us to bring ahead of time! We would definitely stay here again! Their communication was wonderful and they were very accommodating! Thank you!

Worth the getaway!

My husband and I both work in education and enjoyed a few days of our spring break in the oceanfront condo. We were pleasantly surprised by the awesome view and the style and theme of the condo! It was the perfect size for our party of two. The place was equipped with what we needed for the stay. The building was pretty quiet too. The parking garage although convenient for parking was difficult and pretty stressful to maneuver our SUV in due to how tight it was. There was an oversized vehicle parking lot that we did take advantage of. I would recommend the condo to others but would make a few recommendations prior to. We would have loved for the cleanliness to hit the 5-Star mark, but it lacked a professional clean with hair on the sheets, dingy white towels, hair on the floor in the bathroom, unclean shower floor, dingy sofa, and surfaces in the kitchen with crumbs or fingerprints. The place was tidy, super cute, but could have been cleaner. This was our first VBRO stay and maybe our expectations were too high for the level of clean. The most refreshing part of the stay was the view. The owners made the balcony rather comfortable with a lounger and two person counter high table set. We were able to enjoy the sunrise, sunsets, and the fresh ocean breeze. The owners also provided simple directions for checking in. Overall, my husband and I were able to relax and enjoy walking through the neighborhood with many of the comforts of home during our stay!

Just What We Needed!Perfect for a much needed couples getaway. The Condo was beautiful and in a great location of Myrtle Beach. The sunsets and sunrises from the balcony were AMAZING. The Condo was exactly as advertised in the pictures, and the owners were great to deal with. I had to message them a few times and they responded back right away. We would definitely stay here again.

We gifted this day to some friends as a way of saying thank you. The owners were very accommodating to let us do this. And our friends who were in their 60s felt like the place was perfect for a getaway and to relax. Mid-Summer Get Away

I have been to Myrtle Beach many times, and have stayed in many VRBOs there, and this is my favorite thus far. The building was keep very clean. The condo itself was exceptional. The area was full of nice houses and not overwhelmed with resorts, we felt save and the beach was not packed. I enjoyed the location greatly! The hosts were very attentive to any questions we had, and we look forward to visiting again.

The condo was perfect for my wife and I. Comfortable living and an amazing view. We spotted bottle nose dolphins from the balcony on two consecutive mornings. With the beach literally across the street they had everything you needed to be comfortable on the beach, with chairs and umbrellas.

The condo was exactly as expected. The view was breathtaking. The decor was so charming and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. Very clean and a comfortable bed.
