When we first arrived to check in the receptionist was very friendly as I wasn't sure I was in the right place. She explained everything that I needed to know about the resort, parking, how to access the exercise room, the pools and the beach. After getting to our room which was very clean and comfortable, awesome viewcof the ocean from the balcony. After situating our belongings we headed back to access the beach and met Matt the head of security who gave us valuable information on where to eat, what to do while in town (CCMF) was going on which we weren't aware of that. After a walk on the beach we headed out to get a bite to eat. I was amazed by all the restaurants that were within a few miles of the resort. There were gift shops, retail stores,specialty stores and even several grocery stores to choose from. The location was perfect for going to the restaurants we wanted to go to, deep Sea fishing charter, helicopter tour and a Murrells inlet visit, all were just minutes away. The pools were very nice both indoors and outside. There is also 3 propane fire pits that you can relax at after a long day at the beach,shopping and site seeing. Our host was great at communicating all the needed information on checking in and out. The on-site parking is awesome. We were able to park in the parking garage on the same level ever time we came back from an excursion. The only thing that could have been better was the internet connection was sporadic. I recommend Sand Castle resort!
