  • Ocean view, updated 2 bed 2 bath condo with all the amenities you need at your fingertips. All set in a large 33 acre resort that has 4 outside swimming pools, one indoor pool, one indoor/outdoor pool, as well as numerous hot tubs, dry sauna, steam sauna, play ground, tennis courts and basketball courts among many other activities on the grounds. Restaurant with live music and karaoke on site as well as a couple of snack bars at the pools.

Mom’s Birthday Beach Trip

The Myrtle Beach Resort amenities were great! However, our unit needs a major update! The kitchen needs renovated and the furniture needs to be replaced. The toilet was leaking into the floor in the Master bath. I was very disappointed! I’ve stayed in VRBO rentals for years and this is the worst one I have ever stayed in.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, listing accuracy
This was a last minute trip for my family and I. The unit was not worth 2500. For that price, it should have been in immaculate shape and cleaner, everything should have more up to date such as better mattresses and furniture. The air conditioner had mold on it and the whole unit had mold smell to it. The couch smelled like mildew and had stains. The blinds were broke or had holes in them. The shower leaked. I’m not so sure that the sheets were even changed, they looked like someone had wallowed in them before we arrived. And there was hair on the mattress. My friend got a unit at the same time as we did and hers was 1600 and was very nice and had more room. I feel like I got ripped off for the price and it definitely was not worth that. Heck, for 2500, it should have been an oceanfront unit. Everything needs to be updated in the unit. Although we did not let it ruin our vacation and we did not spend alot of time in the unit, overall I was very disappointed.
