Very nice and quiet place to stay

Condo was clean, beds were comfortable, softest towels I have ever dried off with, and location was very quiet. Maintenance was quick to unstop bathroom drain. Master bath was tiny in comparison to most. Shower was large enough to accommodate larger than life person, so it worked. Across the street from the beach, but no buildings to block view. Would definitely stay there again. C-115.

This is the second time we have stayed here. Excellent location. Very quiet and enjoyable. Just steps away from the beach. The only issue I had this year was the room we had was not as clean I would have liked. I had to vacuum myself and the liens were stained. Other than that the stay was great.

Great location, unit needs updating

The location is amazing, pool and washer/dryer are great accommodations also wifi and cable. The furniture if the unit was old worn out and smelled moldy and of pets. We spent money on cleaning supplies and cleaning/dusting. Unit needs an update on furniture, decor rugs etc.

All was well until we walked in unit E305. This unit is in desperate need of remodeling. It smelled old (think about a refrigerator that's been unplugged for years). We had a great time but we did everything in our power to spend as much time as possible away from this room. Never again Ocean Forest!

My recent stay at Ocean Forest Villas in room 202E was a bit underwhelming. Unfortunately, the room had a strong musky odor, so much so that we had to buy air freshener to make it more comfortable. The condo also felt quite dated, especially the cabinets and closet areas, which really could use a refresh. I think the cabinets is what gave the condo the musky smell. The location was great and very close to shopping and grocery stores. I loved that the beach was a walk right across the street. The only thing I can think of improving is to addi signs to help find the check in and key return building better. I was fortunate and ran into people who helped me find it, the other guests were friendly!

Conveniently located across street from beach. As represented in pictures. Easy check-in. Didn't use anything in kitchen, only there for 2 days.

Let’s start with the positive…. The location to the beach and Myrtle Beach attractions was great! The unit we stayed in was not ideal…. We were notified by text that our unit was ready, clean and available for check-in…. Unfortunately, that was not the case. When my family and I entered our unit it was easy to see that it was not cleaned. The floors had not been swept, there was dried food on the counters, stove top and in the microwave…. There was hair in the bathroom sinks and showers…. Also, there was some gross and sticky substance on the lid of the garbage can… I realize people have different definitions of cleanliness, but having to spend the first few hours of our vacation buying cleaning products and cleaning is ridiculous…

The extra linen and cover was dirty and stinking the pillow case had cat hairs and the extra cover smelled like feet. Looks like it wasn’t switched out from the last guest

Unfortunately, my experience with Apartment 202E was not great. I had to clean both bathrooms to be able to use. The showers where dirty with mess from previous guests. The Air conditioner units were moldy and not cooling. One of the rooms doesn't have air conditioning, where my kids slept. We needed sheets for the sofa bed, but none were provided at first. We went out to buy groceries for the week stay and upon arriving someone went in and left sheets on the sofa. Which it sound right, however we never called for them and whoever left them, left them without permission or even a phone call to let us know. I didn't know anyone can walk in without notice - this is upsetting. Very old apartment and updates have not been made well, musty and moldy smell all week. all mattresses are old and springy. The pool area is very small for all the apartments in the area. Nothing exciting about the pool :( adults were in the kiddie pool area drinking. The only positive and what my family enjoyed was the access to the beach. Other than that, terrible choice for stay and the amount we paid to stay was very disappointing for all that was wrong with the apartment. Avoid Apartment 202E

Great view!!!

The rooms were a bit dated, but cozy. It was slightly difficult getting into the room with the keypad. Checking into the room after hours was painless. LOVED the view of the beach!

Our stay was an excellent break from the challenging time we’re going through. We stayed in an ocean front condo on the third floor and the view and quietness were splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the villa. We walked to the beach and people were following the social distancing rule. The places is pack with everything. Glasses, coffee mugs, plates, We definitely be back again and I’ll recommend you stay here.

It was a very nice place to stay even though we were stalked by the security and despite being on the third floor with no elevators. I would recommend it to younger people but those steps are not for me

We were in town for a very short visit, location was very convenient to the perfomance center we would be at and very close to all the best spots of Myrtle Beach. Across the street from the beach with no houses/condos in front of the unit. Beach view from the balcony. Quiet unit, had recently been upgraded with new flooring and an updated bathroom in the master bedroom. Check in was easy, would stay again.

I enjoyed living on the property. The way to unlock the door was super cool but took some time to get use to because we've never use a key code before. The signal for the tv went out the second night in the master bedroom. Overall I would definitely stay again or recommend this place.
