Built in 1818 by Captain George Wolfe, this restored property honors its maritime roots with elegant décor and modern comfort. The Captain’s House features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a gourmet kitchen, while the attached School House Cottage offers a separate 1-bedroom suite with kitchen and family room. Relax on two riverfront patios with views of the Mystic Drawbridge and Seaport Shipyard, or stroll two blocks to Downtown Mystic for dining and shopping. Ideal for families, groups, or anyone seeking an authentic New England waterfront escape.

Guests enjoy full, private access to the entire property, including the Captain’s House, School House Cottage, both riverfront patios, two BBQ grills, and outdoor dining areas. Free parking and self-check-in available.

fantastic family fun!

Comfortable, convenient, and charming! The house was well equipped and the views -- especially at night -- were enchanting. Communication with the host were outstanding -- easy and gracious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location, Location.... Extremely clean, These are old historic homes but they did a great job making them functional an unique experience with thoughtful touches throughout. Very easy to work with owners, would rent again. Thank you

Historical charm

Beautiful location on the water just steps from town. Great outdoor spaces. Perfect accommodations for us, our 3 adult children and their spouses while attending a wedding. Well equipped with everything you need. Would be very well equipped for children as well, lots of toys games books and equipment.
