Very nice home to stay.

We loved the house! I had to get used to the limited window coverings, I am used to shutting the blinds when walking around the house at night. Also, the proximity to the downtown area was great, the hill was a little challenging, but we walked to different shops and restaurants every day.

Beautiful Historic Home

This house is outstanding. While historic, the house was very comfortable, functional, handled 4 adults & 2 children, and the backyard was fantastic. The location of this house is terrific, walking distance to the center of town. Communication with Owner (who lives close by) was first rate, and very responsive.

My husband and I stayed with long time friends as we were in town for a reunion. We knew gathering with friends was going to be fun, but the moment we walked into the house it felt special. Comfortable and welcoming, with a touch of whimsy, immediately we felt like we had gotten away from the busy-ness of everyday life. The kitchen was easy to work in. It was an quick walk into town to see what has changed, and see old favorites still in business. But best of all, the gathering spaces made it so easy to simply enjoy hanging out and and enjoying the views.

Great Mystic House

Best VRBO I have ever rented. Had anything on hand that was needed and immaculately clean. The house itself is perfect as it is what I would picture a Mystic house to be. Also, the fact it was on a bluff on the 4th of July allowed us to watch 6-8 fireworks shows at once from a distance.

Lovely home with stunning back yard in heart of Mystic

It was a dream to arrive at this home after a long drive. It was very easy to enter the home and we shortly had takeout for dinner on the back patio. We enjoyed the gas fire on the back that evening with a gentle seabreeze. The home is lovely and bright and filled with art. We had a wonderful stay and we definitely want to come back!

Perfect location

This is an exceptionally clean, charming house in perfect walking distance to downtown Mystic. Great seaside feel, it's obvious the owner has put a lot of love into it. Has a large backyard with good views, well stocked kitchen, a couple of entertaining areas. If you arrive later in the day in the summer, I'd recommend you ask the owner to turn the AC units on in the bedrooms before your arrival, to give them a chance to cool down - the upstairs was incredibly hot and would be too hot to sleep in without AC running for awhile before bed. Beautiful place!

Loved it! A quiet retreat in the middle of Mystic.

We had a lovely stay at Anna's. The house is beautiful - lots of character and a gorgeous view. Plus, plenty of room for three friends to enjoy each other's company both inside and out. We spent most of our time on the patio overlooking Mystic or inside watching the storms roll by through the floor to ceiling windows. Although you are just a three minute walk from downtown, the positioning of the house on the double lot provides a serene environment. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would love to return in the future.

5 Stars – A Perfect Stay in Historic MysticA Perfect Stay in Historic Mystic

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful historic home in Mystic! From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the character and warmth of the house. The owner has done an incredible job preserving some of its history while including all the modern comforts. The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the harbor, shops, and amazing restaurants. We loved exploring the town during the day and coming back to relax on the cozy porch in the evenings. The house was well-stocked, the beds were very comfortable, and we appreciated the little touches like local guidebooks, quality linens, and coffee supplies. Everything was easy from check-in to checkout, and communication with the host was prompt and helpful.Whether you’re visiting for a romantic weekend, a family getaway, or just to soak in the New England charm, this place is an ideal home base.
