"Emily has been a great host...very accommodating and quick to respond. The house and views are beautiful. The kitchen is well supplied with plenty of dishes, utensils, cups, etc. as well as small appliances, cookie sheets, etc. The coffee bar, with the additional beverage refrigerators were especially lovely and appreciated by our group. The house is conveniently located near the entrance to Snowshoe Mountain but they are not kidding about the 4 wheel drive requirement to reach the house when there is snow/ice on the road so plan accordingly. "We loved the property; there were 6 of us staying for a few day ski trip and celebrating our daughter's 18th birthday. The house is very welcoming, comfortable, and charming. The house was very clean and warm after a cold day of skiing:). We brought in our food which worked out perfectly as there are no real food markets near by. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds were very comfortable, the rooms spacious. The location worked well, snowshoe is only 15-20min drive away, and there is a lovely river behind the property with a trail. We loved the Cass store and it's old world charm. The hosts are very responsive and helpful with information about the house and the area. "
