"Staff was helpful & courteous except for the young man who looks after the tourist attractions. Room was comfortable and spacious. The surrounds as in area outside the resort filth, dirty and rubbish on roadsides. No nice walking tracks close by. "

"Took them 30 minutes to find our [website] reservation, while we waited and watched them serve other (Thai) customers first. Italian restaurant is a terrible Thai imitation and pizza oven was closed. Room service very limited. Songthaews do not go this far down the road so you have to walk. Breakfast terrible. The internet was so slow it was unusable, slower than dial-up, constantly showed as 'poor signal'. Took them 25 minutes to let me check out, I just walked out in the end. Paid in advance...

"Quiet place, very friendly staff. The rooms are great and the food (all meals) was excellent. Breakfast on the weekend was very nice, and average on our last day when few guests stayed there. We stayed at the very nice pool areas as the sea brings plastic garbage to the beach, which is being cleaned by the hotel. The yoga room was being renovated, the gym has fairly old equipment, but good air conditioning. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxed."

"This is advertised as a 4 star, however I’d say this is more of a 2 star; the condition of the hotel is not as in the photos. The hotel is rundown, pool areas are neglected, the beach beds are in terrible condition, reception staff were rude, nothing was open. The location is good but the hotel is bad. I would not stay in this hotel again unless they halved the price to reflect its true conditions. "
