"Spotless room, great breakfast, nice staff"

"An absolutely beautiful place to stay. We chose it because it wasn’t a long drive after a long overnight flight to Lisbon. Clean, comfortable, quiet and friendly! All the things that make for a lovely overnight stay! Would highly recommend. In walking distance to a couple of grocery stores, cafe, restaurant and the very famous walled city"

"Everyone was very friendly and we loved the medieval village inside the castle walls. It is very charming and we enjoyed walking around at night. However while the room itself was very clean, we noticed in the morning (we may stayed one night) that our bed sheets were heavily stained along the corners. We took pictures and understand they’ve been passed on to management. "

"We only stayed one night. Breakfast was great and we had some snacks in the bar near the restaurant which were also good, large servings. Easy parking and check in/out. Not much in the area for other food options."
