Nathalie and Eric the owners were extremely hospitable and friendly, and laid on a wonderful breakfast every morning together with a table d'hote for the guests on the Monday night we stayed with them which was most enjoyable. "Room was lovely. Spacious and warm. Bathroom could have been cleaned a bit better. Car access was interesting to say the least. Room 800m from reception on a tiny road. Need to car to go shopping, get food, etc. Met the owner at breakfast (which was great) and very friendly. Little hard to find."

The host arranged for a taxi to pick me up, they drove me to and from dinner so I didn’t have to walk in the rain and then they drove me to see the Lascaux IV cave. "The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"This is a good property in the heart of the historic district of Sarlat. We had great support from Valentin and Clois when we were there. The room was in the attic with a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast 2 of the days that we were there. We needed a property with a garage and booked one with them. What we did not realize that this was a several minute walk from the property itself. There also was no convenient place to bring up the car to unload luggage since there was a fair going...
