"場所の説明は、事前にメールがありましたので、スムーズに到着出来ました。ドアを開け、まず最初にカビ臭いのが感じられました。窓を全室開け空気の入れ替えをし、和室の押入れが特にカビ臭がありました。あちこちに消臭剤が置いてありましたが・・効果は無く、洗面所と浴室・流し台の排水溝の下水からの悪臭が酷くて、お風呂は利用する気にもならず、2日共日帰り温泉に行きました。洗濯機もありますが、蛇口から洗濯槽まで届かず洗濯槽の中も茶色の汚れがこびり付いていてコインランドリーに行きました。帰宅してからも持ち込んだ物は全てカビ臭が移っていました。室温20℃と快適でしたが、ニオイに関しては残念でした。改善される事を希望します。"

GLAMDAYSTYLE HOTEL&RESORT KYU-KARUIZAWA

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect, with Old Karuizawa Ginza Street right outside the hotel, making it super convenient to explore. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we loved the organic-smelling toiletries. Staff were always polite and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast selection was a bit limited, but everything was fresh and well prepared — especially the soups, which we enjoyed every morning. Only small downside was the pillows, which were too flat for us. Otherwise, a great stay overall!"

"Beautiful ryokan hotel with attentive staff, the overall atmosphere of the place is calming, perfect for a retreat. The kaiseki meals for dinner and breakfast had generous portions - food was pretty good (but not exceptional compared to other ryokans). There's also free yakult, ice cream / ice lollies, tea and late night ramen served at the lounge during different timings, these were nice treats to have after a good soak at the onsen. We loved the convenience of having shuttle buses to and from Karuizawa (inform the hotel in advance via email if you wish to take this bus!), and also to and from the Kusatsu Onsen Yubatake!"

"Great place to stay for a visit to Kariuzawa. Next to the train station and they will hold your bags while you explore the town, then pick up your bag and head to the train station. Very helpful staff. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had in Japan- lots of local, traditional foods cooked from scratch. Such a treat!"

"Lovely atmospheric hotel nestled in the woods but only 10 min from the main station, with free shuttles running a few times a day. Comfortable, modern rooms. Very clean. Cute gift shop. A highlight was the delicious daily breakfast with some made-to-order options. Plenty of fresh vegetables from local gardens. I had the set menu for dinner one evening: Vegetable based menu, very clean and tasty. Beautiful garden-like setting. Private baths are available for free use. They are not sourced from a hot spring however, and have the faint scent of chlorine. I was able to rent an e-bike for 2500yen daily and ride around to see all the tourist sights. Would definitely stay here again!"
