"The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. The rooms are fairly traditional, and therefore seem quite spartan to a Westerner. The room I was in had a small desk with a TV on it, but no chair; it had a mattress and bedclothes but no raised bed. This did make for a bit of an uncomfortable experience at times, as it's not something I'm used to. If you're after a traditional Japanese inn, this is a good one, but I know I only had a vague idea of what that meant...
