"We hsve stayed 1 week, and enjoyed it very much. The land-lord was very nice and attentive! The house is way up in the back-hills, ca 30 minutes distance from the sea. The drive up to the house is quite adventurous with many serpentines to drive. So, you better do your shopping before you drive up to the house. But we liked it very much. "A wonderful place to stay, the building is incredible, with a unique history. It is perfectly comfortable, despite the age. The beds were good and with a good choice of pillows! The kitchen is small but adequate, it had everything and very good quality knives (very important for any cook!). The gardens are incredible, the kids enjoyed spotting lizards, splashing in the water course for the old mill wheel and running around the grass area. We saw so much wildlife in the garden with some surprise...

"It is a very nice, authentic house with a pleasant garden. The house has 3 bedrooms with very comfortable beds. Our teens (16 and 17) had both there own bedroom which they like on this age. The kitchen is well supplied and fits perfectly in the style of houses in Toscane. The garden has a very nice pool and is totally fenced which was perfect for our dog. We visited Lucca, Pisa, Florence and we went to the see. We had a perfect stay. Thank you"

"Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. Highly recommend."
