Great Family Rental - Newly renovated Bathrooms and Kitchen in 2021 and a new Hot Tub. Access to Beach Club Pool and Restaurant. After a day at the beach relax in the hot tub and watch the sun set!!

Our home is located at mile post 14.5 in the Village at Nags Head Linkside community. Enjoy views overlooking the fairway from the deck of our Soundside beach home located on the Nags Head Golf course. Our family cottage is comfortably furnished with everything your family will need for a memorable stay at the beach. Located on a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance of the grocery store, shops and restaurants. It's just a short drive to the golf club (additional fees apply), beach club with pool less than a mile from the house (included in rental fee) or the private beach access 1/4 mile from the house with bath house. Beach Club and pool open May to Oct (weather permitting).

Walk to the sound side park on the water to fush, launch kayaks and canoes or just to view the sunsets. Great neighborhood for biking, walking or running (bring your own or they can be rented from local vendors). Our home is non-smoking and has external security surveillance. We do not provide linens and towels and basic necessities, these are the renters responsibility.

The Village Beach Club amenities include an oceanfront pool with lifeguards on duty, kiddie pool, restaurant and bar with poolside service, tennis courts, and private beach access. Community pool is available in season May-September. Available for short stays (3+ nights) after Labor Day and before Memorial Day Weekend. Restaurant and Bar on property at the golf course open to the public, just a walk away.

Need a change of pace one day? No problem! Wright Brothers’ Memorial, Jockey’s Ridge State Park, Bodie Island Light House, Jeannette’s Pier, deep sea fishing, Full Throttle Speedway, Putt-Putt, art galleries, Tanger Outlets, Outer Banks Arboretum, and paddleboard/power boat rentals, Jennette's Pier and Aquarium, are close at hand.

Visit Historic Manteo to revel in the highly acclaimed Elizabethan Gardens; Festival Park; Fort Raleigh National Historic Site; enjoy an evening of magical theater with “The Lost Colony;” or whisk way to explore the secluded beaches along the way to Hatteras Island and take the Ferry to Ocracoke for a special treat. Head North to Duck (quaint village), Corolla Light or Corova to witness the Wild Pony's and 4 wheel drive area.

Of course if you want to stay in we have Wifi, 4 Smart TV’s (no cable TV), outside shower, fish cleaning station, and a charcoal grill. Parking for 3 vehicles. Small boats are permitted provided they fit in the car port.

Enjoy your Family Vacation! Remember, Wi-Fi is subject to the weather on the OBX and can be intermittent. It is your time to relax and enjoy!!!

Family Vacation

Great family get away!

Great, peaceful location to enjoy all that OBX has to offer! We really appreciated the access to the clubhouse right on the beach. Also super convenient to be right behind the shopping center with Fresh Market, Duck Donuts, and Grits Grill. 😋 The neighborhood was very quiet in the evenings. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

First trip to OBX

Great location to most everything we wanted to do. Clean property and great communication with Mark whenever I had questions about anything. Kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed. Definitely looking forward to coming back and staying here again.

Nag's Head Beach House

Overall, a wonderful house/home for a vacation. Walking distance (~15 min) to the beach although easier to drive to the beach club if carrying stuff for a full day. Beach club access all week was very enjoyable and convenient. Loved the sunset from the nearby Dunes at the state park. Mark was an excellent host and responded quickly to questions. The sheet and towel rental was a little inconvenient because we arrived after 6:00pm and the rental places were closed but otherwise everything was amazing! We did a few excursions to the Aquarium and to some nearby towns.

Wonderful Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to the OBX! Thank you to Mark and Elizabeth for sharing your home away from home. It was in the perfect location, in a lovely neighborhood. We loved having our morning coffee on the back deck. Access to the pool and beach club was wonderful, especially on the days when we could not swim at the beach. We will be back!

Perfect family getaway

We had a lovely time! The house is well outfitted and comfortable and we loved the hot tub. Just as advertised and we had zero issues. Since it was the off season we didn't use the club but house is a very short drive to the beach. It's also super convenient for groceries. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect beach getaway!

The house was perfect for our last minute trip to the beach. It's about a mile to the Epstein public beach access parking lot so we drove there everyday which was very convenient. Mark was extremely helpful leading up to the trip, during, and after. Check in and check out was super smooth and Mark gave us the instructions for both ahead of time. I would definitely recommend this house!

OBX in October

We had a great stay in Nags Head after the crowds left. The weather was a bit cool due to the recent storm but the house was clean and quite with a nice hot tub on the balcony. The location is right in the heart of everything and even walking distance to a shopping area. It is best to drive to the beach access areas rather than walking there but easy to find once you get familiar the area. We had quick communication replies from the owners and accessing the house couldn't have been see easier.

Great family vacation

We spent a week here with 3 adults and 2 kids ages 5 and 7. The property was very clean and the kitchen had everything we need to cook several meals at home. The kids loved having access to the pool and the club was very welcoming to guests. We drove to the pool and beach access and parking was free and we never had any issues finding a spot. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood which was very quiet even during a holiday week. The hot tub was not working correctly when we arrived and the owner had a technician out to fix the issue the next morning. Instructions for check in and check out were very clear and the owner was very quick to reply to any questions. This was our first vacation in the outer banks and we can’t wait to come back! In addition to spending time at the beach and pool, we enjoyed visiting the Wright Brothers monument, the aquarium, the sand dunes, go karts and mini golf all within a short drive. Wonderful family trip

We had a lovely stay! I came with my parents, brother and husband for a week. The beach club was a great amenity to utilize. We sometimes walked and sometimes used the shuttle so it was very easy getting back and forth. We also very much enjoyed the hot tub at the house! My husband did a round of golf on the pretty (but challenging!) golf course right behind the house. The house is a great location for doing lots of things around the outer banks (Wrights Brothers, the Lost Colony play, a fishing charter) and is walking distance to the grocery store which was nice. Would definitely come back!

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. The house is conveniently located next to a grocery store and just a few minutes drive to the beach. The only negative about the house was it looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in awhile. The upstairs floor was especially dirty (used band aid and crumbs in the living room). Given the price of the cleaning fee, we just expected it would be a bit tidier. Mark was very quick to respond and helpful when we had issues with the TV.

Cute and welcoming house

We had a wonderful stay in this cute and welcoming house, with comfortable beds and tasteful decorations and in a quiet neighborhood. It provided everything we needed for a week at the beach. The upstairs kitchen/living area was very cute and quaint but a little tight on space….definitely a “1 person at a time” kitchen so a little tricky with kids. We also had an issue with a pressure mounted shower curtain rod randomly falling in the night which almost cost us a significant part of our deposit even though we hung it back up. Thankfully it was worked out with VRBO. Other than that we had a great experience.

Comfy & Cozy

This house was absolutely perfect for my family of 4. It was big enough for all of us to have our own space, yet small enough to feel warm & cozy. We all felt right at home. My husband and I loved having the king bedroom with our own bathroom and porch! The house was very clean and well maintained. Some things were already there (there is a pay it forward system with previous guests) like two rolls of toilet paper and a roll of paper towels. We needed to bring our own sheets, pillow cases, towels, and wash cloths. The kitchen comes with the basics—dishwasher, pots & pans, toaster, coffee pot, crock pot, dishes, spices, cups, etc. There were insulated cooler bags that were perfect for keeping cold water on an outing to the beach. The hot tub on the upper porch seats four and has some very cool light settings. My son’s favorite thing to do was watch the sunset from the hot tub! The location was perfect and within walking distance of the local grocery, dollar store, and, our personal favorite, Duck Donuts. The house came with access to the beach, pool, and clubhouse, although the shuttle from the house to the pool no longer exists. The owner was fantastic in preparing us with any necessary information for our stay. He also readily and quickly answered any questions we had during our stay. We loved our stay and are considering renting this house again in the future!

Family summer beach vacation

Overall our stay was great! Lots of positives!! Nice home, spacious and great location, convenient to everything (stores, restaurants, and beach) and wonderful to be able to use the pool/clubhouse, beach access, and on site hot tub. House had many necessities to use - kitchen equipped with basic cooking needs, paper towels and toilet paper and dish soap to get us started were already there. As listed, must bring all condiments, coffee filters etc. Nice water pressure in the showers. Plenty of pillows and blankets to use as well. Quiet neighborhood. Small things....could possibly use a new master bedroom mattress, there was some rust on the legs of the upper deck furniture so we couldn't use the chairs, outdoor hose needed a washer so it sprayed, seems that the carpet was only quickly vacuumed, carport had trash and beach toys thrown in the corner which we picked up, temperature was not even throughout the home's floors, and backdoor was very squeaky if using the hot tub at night (tough if kids were asleep). Overall we had a very lovely stay and would return. The owners were very easy to communicate with and offered suggestions and help when needed. Thanks again!

Clean, Good Communication & great location but lacks some necessities

A group of 6 of us met in the Outer Banks for our annual girls' trip.The property was perfectly located and had the right number of beds. We did notice in the listing that sheets&towels were not provided so they had to be either rented for a cost from a company or we had to bring our own. I priced the rental and it was pretty costly so we opted to bring our own. There were comforters and pillows provided, but we had to provide pillow cases, sheets, and all towels. That seemed unusual to us having rented in other areas, but since there was a rental company for it, I thought it might be a local thing. What I didn't realize is that paper products were also not provided. We arrived and there was no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. When I contacted the host I was told that they operate on a "pay it forward" system. They provide toilet paper and paper towels at the beginning of the season and then rely on their guests to leave enough for the next guest. We were left with nothing. I have never had this at any rental property before.We were caught off guard because it was not said on the rental that you would have to provide your own toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, etc. There were plates and cups and some cookware. We were not cooking or eating in, so I don't know the extent to what was there.However, there was no dishwasher detergent provided to run the dishwasher. We opted to buy some plastic cups and utensils to use while we were there so we did not have to worry about trying to run the dishwasher. There was a very nice washer and dryer available to use which was a nice feature especially since we had our own beach towels and bath towels. We did have to provide our own detergent which we had brought with us. There is a very nice hot tub on the back patio. We did not use it, but it was very clean and nice. The neighborhood was quiet, easy to get to and close to everything. The master bedroom and bathroom with a king bed is on the first floor. On the second floor are the two other bedrooms and the second bathroom as well as the washer and dryer. The third floor is where the kitchen and living room are located as well as the patio with the hot tub. We also enjoyed having access to the Village Beach Club. We were able to park there and access the beach as well as a pool. There is a snack bar there too. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and check in and out was very easy. Just be aware of needing to provide many necessities.

Great location!

We’ve stayed in several houses in the Outer Banks but have been most pleased with this one. House was very clean and kitchen stocked with everything needed. A grocery store was in walking distance, which was great. The location was central to the areas we visited during our vacation. Owner was easy to get ahold of. Hot tub on the deck was very nice. Layout of house was great for what we needed. The only thing we wished the property had was a gas grill. We will be back!
