"My family and I enjoyed staying at this brand new beach house. It has everything you need for a nice stay. Very comfortable and close to the best beach in las terrenas. Our trip had to be cut short because of the hurricane and the owners were very kind to accommodate us and help us reschedule some dates in the future. Highly recommended."

"Estrella del Norte was just that. An amazing stay, the villa was in great condition. Nina was beyond fantastic with her service and her cooking. She went above and beyond for everything. We would def stay here again. I do suggest that if you go in the wetter or colder month to have a 4x4 vehicle as the roads are not the best and the location of the house has a few steep slopes. "The house is huge, there were 16 of us and it was plenty big for everyone to have their own space. The staff was so kind. Although they spoke very little English, they were really helpful, and Joseph (property owner) was available and checked in by phone frequently. The pool and the balconies are incredible, and we spent hours looking out at the view and playing games poolside. This is really a friendly environment, with the staff and the owner taking a real interest in making your experience...

"Love this place. It may seem small but it has everything it needs!! Fully surrounded by trees and nature, and there’s even a little river close by. There is hot water, and also an included breakfast, loved this since I didn’t have to worry about waking up and trying to come up with something to eat. If he food was really good. "The villa was very comfortable and fit our family needs. The beach across the street was great for our grandchildren for swimming and snorkeling. Even our 6 year old granddaughter was able to enjoy swimming in the calm water. Francheska was great at answering all our questions with prompt responses. "The villa was just like in the pictures. The communication process throughout the stay and registration with the owner assistant Franceska was great. The villa Host Samuel and his wife Marie were amazing, attentive to what we needed, and welcoming. Everything about our stay was great no complains, although coming up to the villa was a bit of a journey but worth it."

"- The listing needs to be updated. There was two different prices for electricity posted and a third price was given in a message from the host.- We arrived shortly after the posted check-in time and the cleaners were still there and the gardener was making a mess in the yard.Communication with the host was off putting. "We enjoyed stepping into the jungle for a few days on our trip. The breakfast was excellent but we did not read the fine print that it is only on the first day. Dominic was kind enough to send us with some bananas on our drive. It was really fun and still close to everything if you have a car. "

"we have stayed twice before , this time , we rented a villa everything about the place is great . only problem this time was that we only got hot showers twice in 4 days , for the price , it is not acceptable!! also the level of the restaurant , is not up to par , compared to a few locations we have been to , they should really look into upgraded the cooking!! but aside from that we love the place ! we are lucky enough to be chefs , and know where to go buy fresh seafood locally , and we make ourself at home , with our cooking and wine drinking!!"
