Rooms and beds are super tiny. Advertised as twin, size was single. Had to sleep sideways to fit everyone comfortably. Microwave still not replaced in a week. Location is great, just beside a monorail station. Car rental boot available inside the hotel. Would book again but would definitely ensure the size of beds matches the description.
Great hotel with friendly helpful staff and breakfast is FANTASTIC! Location is tough to beat, close to Kokusai, downtown, buses, everything you want in NAHA!
Room was super tiny. Not sure why they let you book it for 4 people when there’s only 2 beds. I thought there was at least another couch or convertible chair to use for one more person.
Advertised a microwave oven that apparently broke the day before we stayed. Had to eat dinner cold.
Otherwise everything else is great, especially the location and the fact that they can bring your car for rental just in front on the hotel.
The staff are kind and accomodating. We really enjoyed our stay at Mercure and a few shout outs to Kei, Suraj and Mark, who made our time away from home, feel like home.
Large tub with good water pressure in the shower. Had all the amenities and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, not a standout but not bad.
Room was great, not huge but your typical hotel room, shower wasnt anything spectacular. Beds were exactly what you would expect from a hotel.
Staff was where the hotel stands out, they were all incredibly accommodating and polite, felt very welcoming from the moment we walked through the doors. Breakfast was divine for us westerners, didnt try alot of it but the choices were spectacular.
Had a great family stay at Mercure Naha. Hotel service is prompt, service is fantastic and property is clean. Location also is ideal as next to monorail.
Fruits, vegetables, breakfast foods, lunch/dinner options as well. Large comfortable bed. Onoyama Park is right across the river where I ran every other day before doing my tourist things. Family Mart, 7/11, and Don Quijote close by. Yui Rail is right next to the hotel and comes by frequently. The nonhotel parking lot is next door and cheap rates.
Location was good! There were monorail station and Familymart nearby.
Rooms is big enough for small family.
And service was quite kids friendly.
Happy to see a monorail train just outside the windows.
10 min from airport, next to Monorail station, fast check-in. Huge size room, great bed. Wide choice at breakfast, but more for Asian tongue, coffee is horrible.
1. The staff is friendly and helpful.
2. The room which I stayed at the floor corner was noisy at night, could hear the machine working. Or some strange sounds. Plus, the bathroom has a bad moldy smell. Additionally, the wall has been scratched pretty bad. Looks old.
3. When I was still getting ready for my tour, the cleaning staff knocked in the door and asked if they could clean the room, I wonder why they didn’t know there was still someone in the room. Couldn’t they wait till the guest leave? Were they in such a hurry to clean the room? When to leave the room should be decided by the guest. Then, I needed to speed up my makeup and leave the room for them to do the cleaning. I know it’s hard work, but I think this was the part I disliked.
4. The breakfast was good, location is convenient for taking the trams.
