"This is more a message to management. I usually do not do reviews. There were multiple issues. One is ok, but they had a few. When we came into the place there was crumbs on the floor near the couch. My wife flagged down a person and got it vacuumed. "The Marine View Palace was a really good hotel for our family who is travelling Japan on a budget. It’s an older hotel so the amenities are quite dated. With that being said, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean, and it is in a great location for accessing beaches. We could walk to several beaches within 10 - 15 minutes and there were many more beaches within a 20 - 40 minute bus ride. Our favourite beaches were Tiger Beach (10 minute walk) and Nabee Beach (15 minute bus ride). American village is about a 30 minute bus ride. Our hotel room had a large balcony with an awesome view of the ocean. The room itself comfortably fit our whole family (2 adults and 3 kids). Again, everything was very dated but the room had a small fridge, stove top, microwave, and kettle. There were a number of good local restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the hotel and there was also a Lawson Station, Family Mart and 7-11. Would very much recommend the hotel for those travelling on a budget and those who enjoy exploring."
