"The property itself is so beautiful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were as described and actually quite large. We really enjoyed the balcony. Note all rooms are smoking but as a non smoker it did not really bother me after they they used the spray. "

"This was a very memorable place that I visited. It is in the rural area of japan, you can really feel the realness of the area. It's in gifu however it's definitely not a tourist trap area. The owners of the establishment reminded me of my grandmother. You are not getting a hotle with this stay more of a B&B, it definitely felt like I a was sleeping over a japanese grandma's house. They also gave grate advice on a nice local restaurant at the bottom of a locals Mt that you can hike after to see...
