Juniper Reaidency is the most convenient three-star hotel to the shared jeep stop. The proprietor helpfully arranged a half day taxi to all the nearby sites I wanted to visit and also recommended a few I didn’t know about. She also arranged a taxi for a cheaper rate than I was able to negotiate myself. The restaurant here is currently under renovation. You may need to request additional bedding. The hotel has access to all the clean water you would need.

This is a wonderful hotel. It is a family run establishment and everyone is very attentive and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and healthy. Dinner is available in the restaurant and the food was delicious. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel. It is in a great location with a stunning view of the landscape.

The hotel is decorated with high-end art pieces and provides a calming Zen experience from beginning to end. The staff were all very hospitable and helpful - the only aberration was we found a baby stroller in the room after our return from a side trip, and we did not ask for it. The WiFi signal was patchy. After I had to change hotels I chose to come to the Yangthang Heritage. Not only did the accept my last minute booking but also prepared a room immediately. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautiful with painted carvings throughout and is only a short walk to the market road. The dining was very good. The true highlight of my stay was the service.
