"This property is excellently run, beautiful inside and out, and the service is first-rate. I was honestly very surprised at how comfortable and well-run everything was - truly comparable to a high-end US or European hotel. I did have an issue with my hot-water heater which was not working, and the staff immediately offered solutions such as moving rooms or showering in a different room. "For me Speke Hotel was nearly perfect. The location was close enough to the heart of the city but in a very quiet district. The onsite dining and food options were diverse and very entertaining, with a great ambiance. Excellent hospitality, warm, caring and eager without motive, always available and accommodating.
