The property appeared somewhat dated, and the staff did not seem particularly welcoming. Additionally, due to the cold weather, we were unable to use the swimming pool. Most of all, the in-room bathtub was not present as depicted in the photos.

The hotel owner was amazing. Not only did he introduce us to traditional Korean tea in their little cafe, but he and his wife fed us fresh persimmons and baked sweet potatoes in the wood burning stove. Had the best night and would stay again!

RIVER HOTEL NAMWON
This was the weirdest hotel we've ever stayed at. We never saw another human the whole time we were there. There was no-one at the front desk. There was a kiosk to get the key.
