"The studio was clean, spacious & nice. However, the host advises "just steps from the ocean." Totally false! To get across to the ocean, you have to cross an extremely active highway. Furthermore, there are several homeless camps you also have to pass. To enter or exit the property, you have to get out of your vehicle and unlock the iron gates that are secured with a bicycle lock. Don't get me wrong, we only stayed at the property at night to sleep. But, I solely payed the high dollar amount to...

"This rental was just ok. It was very close to the beach but had absolutely no views. The rental was cheaply furnished. We didn't spend a lot of time there, really just slept there. A/C worked fine in the bedroom but the living area was warm. The shower was good with plenty of pressure and hot water. It had a washer and dryer which allowed us to wash clothes. It worked for us as a fairly inexpensive place to sleep and bathe just a very short walk (maybe 150 feet) from the beach."

"Wonderful two month stay! What a view! Sunrises and sunsets. The beach is mostly for locals and surfers, you won't find many tourists here. Further north the road leads to more gorgeous, quiet beaches, and a trail leading to the northwest tip of Oahu. A car is pretty much necessary. The condo is very comfortable, with the ocean and beach view right in front of the balcony. Very nice staff and residents. Shopping is easy a few miles south.
