"The hotel is very conveniently close to the airport with shuttle service. The shuttle service was wonderful. The room is clean but requires maintenance. The shower was either hot or cold and the sink did not drain very well. The electrical outlets on the lamps did not fit plugs for charging devices. Overall the hotel was ok for 1 night stay serving my purpose of a layover to my next stop."

"this hotel is in a great location with free parking which is rare these days. area feels safe and is conveniently with in a shopping area so everything at hand. i stayed here a few years ago and it is feeling a little tired than I remember however they were in the process of renovations during our stay. check-in was great and communication prior to arrive amazing especially from Dee who replied to all my emails and collected packages on my behalf which were waiting for me on arrival. Our room was ready early and that was nice to be able to go straight in and settle. room was large with plenty of room we had a wet bar but i didn't really see the purpose as all it had extra was a microwave, but no plates or knife and forks etc. to which we thought we would have. no kettle in the room only a drip coffee machine which I hate using for tea as it makes water taste funny prefer a kettle. The carpets felt dirty and I ended up putting towels down to walk around as it just wasn't nice under foot especially after a clean shower. they did offer a free breakfast which was very basic however the hot options really didn't change over the 6 days we were there not a big problem for me as I like the waffles. they offer hot water and coffee 24/7 but only issue is they only offered decaf black tea bags, surely not that hard to put out normal tea bags, so I went and purchased my own English breakfast tea bags. loved the filtered water station to fill my water bottle. checkout was swift."

"This hotel is very outdated. The air conditioning didn’t work well. The carpet had pink stains on it. The tv is not able to be seen from the bed. It is in a separate sitting area. The couch was super old and very uncomfortable - you had to sit on the very ends or you sunk in. The chair was also very dirty and stained. Luckily we were only here one night. "

"We had an amazing family vacation at Aulani! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived, and check‑in was quick and easy. The resort is truly designed for families — there were so many activities for the kids, and plenty of things for adults to enjoy as well. Getting around was simple, and it was easy to explore outside the hotel without dealing with traffic. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after long days of fun. We loved our stay and would absolutely recommend Aulani. We’re already hoping to make this an annual tradition!"

The Service Experience However, my experience was deeply disappointing. We booked this stay to break up a long journey from Thailand and New Zealand and to mark our 40th wedding anniversary. After a grueling red-eye flight, we were looking for the resort experience one expects at this price point. Instead, we felt "trapped" in a perpetual sales pitch. When we sought technical assistance with the resort’s app at the welcome desk, we weren't given a solution; instead, we were met with a misleading high-pressure invitation to a timeshare presentation. I would never have booked this location had it been clearly disclosed that the priority here is timeshare sales rather than guest relaxation. Dining & Health Issues The logistical hurdles with the app meant we missed out on reservations for the main restaurant. We turned to the pool grill, where I ordered a BBQ sandwich that arrived dry and burnt. Regrettably, I ate it anyway—an error that cost me the next two days of my trip due to illness. Final Verdict While the property is physically beautiful, the "hotel food" warnings I received were an understatement, and the aggressive sales culture ruined it."
